Family Photographer in Marseille

For families, couples & lovers of the South of France.

I offer family, couple and maternity photoshoots in Marseille.
If you are visiting the South of France, a photo session is a beautiful way to capture your trip.

Capture your trip to Marseille

You’re traveling through the South of France and you want something to bring home that isn’t just photos on your phone.

I photograph families, couples and maternity sessions in Marseille and around the South of France — outdoors, in natural light, in places that truly capture the Mediterranean atmosphere of Provence.

Yes, we’re talking cobblestone alleys, turquoise water, sun-drenched walls and that unmistakable Mediterranean light. The full dolce vita experience for lovers of all kinds.

I come from a graphic design and art direction background — which means I think about the image first: the light, the location, the atmosphere. Then I let you just be yourselves inside it.

Warm, timeless images shaped by Mediterranean light and real moments.

Bonjour !
Hi ! HolA !
Laurène Tinel - Laulinea, photographe grossesse, famille et mariage à Marseille
I’m
Laurène !

I was born and raised in Marseille, which means I know the city and its light like a local Marseille photographer should. I spent nine years in Montreal, which means I work easily with international clients. English, no problem. French if you’d like to practice.

« Laurène is beyond talented and was an absolute joy to work with while we were on holiday in Marseille. She has young children of her own, so she knew exactly how to engage with our little one and she captured several priceless moments of my family at a very special time in our lives. I highly recommend her to anyone in Marseille who is looking for an extremely talented, kind and supportive photographer. »

FAQ — Frequently asked questions

I recommend booking 6 to 8 weeks before your trip, especially in summer (June–September) when availability fills up fast. That said, if you’re already in Marseille — check availability anyway. Last-minute slots do open up.

Yes, sometimes. Write to me anyway, if I have a slot free, I’ll make it work. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we have on timing and location.

We reschedule. Marseille has over 300 sunny days a year, so rain all day is very rare. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll find another slot during your stay, or I’ll issue a full refund if that’s not possible.

Not much. Once you’ve booked, I send you a short prep guide with everything you need to know — timing, what to wear, what to expect. The main thing: show up, relax, and let me handle the rest.

Yes, and I’m happy to help. As a general rule: go for soft, neutral tones that complement the Mediterranean colours rather than compete with them. Avoid busy patterns or overly coordinated outfits, it can feel stiff.

Your online gallery will be ready within 3 to 4 weeks after the session. You’ll receive a private link to view, download and share all your images.

It depends on the session length, but typically between 10 and 70 carefully selected and edited images. I’d rather give you fewer, stronger photos than a massive gallery full of near-duplicates.

You receive all your photos in high resolution, and you’re free to print them wherever and however you like — at home, at a local lab, or through an online service. There are no printing restrictions or additional licensing fees. The images are yours.

That’s part of what I do. Tell me what you’re drawn to — colourful streets, the sea, Provençal countryside, something more elegant — and I’ll suggest the spot that fits best. You don’t need to know Marseille to make a good choice. I do.

MARSEILLE, THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A MEDITERRANEAN PHOTOSHOOT

I photograph families, couples, maternity and newborn sessions in Marseille and around the South of France, using natural light and real Mediterranean locations.
Whether you’re visiting Provence for a summer holiday, a romantic getaway or a family trip by the sea, a photo session is a beautiful way to keep more than phone snapshots.

My approach is relaxed and documentary-inspired. I focus on connection, movement and genuine moments — the hugs, the laughter, the chaos, the tenderness. No stiff posing, no pressure to perform.
Sessions take place outdoors in Marseille, Cassis, Aix-en-Provence and nearby coastal villages, always with attention to light, atmosphere and that unmistakable Mediterranean feeling.
